The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change Wildlife Protection Department patrols in cooperation with the Environmental Security Unit of the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya) has carried out a surprise inspection campaign covering several sites in the southern regions of the country, as part of the Ministry’s ongoing efforts to protect the environment and preserve natural resources.

During the campaign, several violations of the ban on camels grazing in the open were spotted, and the violators were referred to the competent authorities for the necessary legal action. This campaign is part of a series of field operations conducted by the Ministry to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and to protect vegetation cover and biodiversity, thereby supporting environmental sustainability efforts.

Accordingly, the Ministry reaffirmed that it will continue conducting inspection campaigns across all regions of the country, calling on camel owners to adhere to grazing regulations and to contribute to protecting the environment and maintaining ecological balance.
