The 2025–2026 winter camping season will begin on Wednesday across various regions of the country, amid intensive preparations and organizational measures set by the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change to ensure a safe and sustainable season that will continue until April 15, 2026.
Accordingly, The Winter Camping Affairs Organizing Committee has announced the reopening of registration for the season in all available areas of the country, starting from October 15 to November 15, 2025. It pointed out that registration is carried out through the Ministry’s website and Bee'ah application.
The registration period for the season began at the start of this month and proceeded smoothly, as the Ministry worked to further develop the digital infrastructure of the registration system. The operations room received comments and inquiries from the public through the unified contact center (16066) and various communication channels, taking the necessary measures to address them immediately.
The Ministry confirmed that the capacity for the current season is 3,000 camps, with the possibility of increasing the number in certain areas depending on demand and field conditions. Registration fees are set at QR 3,000, in addition to a mandatory insurance deposit of QR10,000, to be paid electronically via bank cards. The deposit will be refunded according to approved regulations after the end of the season.
It explained that changing the camp location is only allowed before installation for a fee of QR1,000, and no modifications are permitted after installation is completed. It stressed that renting out camps or advertising them is a clear violation that will lead to the immediate withdrawal of the permit and cancellation of the reservation.
