The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change Department of Marine Protection has apprehended a number of violators for illegally hunting Seabirds at one of the country’s marine sites, which is an explicit violation of the environmental laws and regulations in force.

The ministry pointed out that the birds were found hidden inside the boats. Accordingly, the relevant department has initiated legal procedures against the offenders and released the birds back into their natural habitat. This step reflects the ministry’s commitment to protecting wildlife and preserving environmental balance.

Meanwhile, the ministry reaffirmed its continued efforts to intensify monitoring and inspection activities and to detect any environmental violations or practices that may harm the environment. It also emphasized the importance of adhering to environmental laws and refraining from hunting or harming wildlife, in order to preserve biodiversity and ensure the sustainability of natural resources.
