Qatar Charity (QC), with the generous support of benefactors in Qatar, has launched a series of wide-ranging development projects in Mauritania, in collaboration with the Ministry Delegate to the Minister of Interior, Promotion of Decentralisation, and Local Development.

The new projects include the construction of three multi-service centers housing medical clinics and schools, the establishment of 24 mosques, the implementation of 50 economic empowerment initiatives and 30 food security projects, as well as the drilling of three artesian wells.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by many dignitaries, including Hamza Ould Amar, secretary-general of the Ministry Delegate and Ghanem Mansour al-Nuaimi, chargé d’affaires at the Embassy of Qatar in Mauritania, alongside government officials and representatives of civil society organisations.
