HE Chairman of the General Authority of Customs (GAC), Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Jamal, inaugurated the new "Customs Documents" system, aimed at automating archiving processes and establishing a unified central database for customs documents related to international cooperation procedures. The system also encompasses the Authority's participation in regional and international meetings, as well as the presentation of customs agreements and memorandums of understanding.

In a statement issued Wednesday, GAC said the system leverages artificial intelligence to analyze document content, enhancing operational efficiency and streamlining access to information. It also strengthens data protection and confidentiality in line with the highest applicable standards.
