The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change has spotted a female warbler bird hiding on a ghaf tree in one of the country’s wilderness areas, as part of its ongoing efforts to monitor biodiversity and track migratory birds.
The whistling bird is considered a passage migrant that is seen in Qatar every September. It feeds on insects, seeds, and fruits, and is distinguished by its beauty and cautious behaviour, as it usually hides among the branches away from sight.
