Eight people were killed and 35 others injured when a fire broke out Friday morning at a clothing factory in El-Mahalla El-Kubra in Egypt's northern Gharbia Governorate, the Ministry of Health and Population announced.
The ministry said the injured were taken to hospitals for treatment, while civil defense teams continued rescue efforts and cleared debris in search of more victims.
