Lancôme Travel Retail and Qatar Duty Free (QDF) unveil the emblematic Café De La Rose from Paris’s Champs-Elysées at Hamad International Airport, Doha – a first of-its-kind concept in travel retail. Located in the newly opened Concourse D, this exclusive destination blends beauty, fragrance, and gastronomy in a setting designed to surprise and delight travellers. Bringing together QDF’s expertise in creating experiential retail and Lancôme’s world of French elegance, Café De La Rose offers passengers a memorable new way to connect with a leading luxury brand during their journey through Doha. Blending beauty and gastronomy – retail and café – this unique hybrid venue is inspired by Lancôme’s iconic rose and signature pink palette. Café De La Rose merges elegant French beauty with the pleasures of a contemporary café, creating a space where indulgence and inspiration coexist. Guests are invited to explore the world of Lancôme skincare and fragrance, with a distinct focus on the exceptional Absolue collection and the guidance of a dedicated team of brand experts.

A Premium In-Store Experience

Beyond the product, travellers are invited to enjoy complimentary skincare services, allowing them to explore the collection in a truly immersive way. Two other unique elements complete the experience: ceramic oud bouquet dispensers on each table offer a signature olfactive journey, while guests exploring Sensitivity: Restricted the fragrance collections can take home their own Absolue Les Parfums passport – a personalised keepsake capturing their favourite scents from the visit.

A Delicious Gourmet Stop

The café counter, developed in collaboration with Lenôtre, a reference in French gastronomy in France and around the world, offers five exclusive pastries, created especially for Lancôme by Étienne Leroy, Lenôtre Pastry Chef and World Pastry Champion. For this partnership, the Chef has revisited the Lenôtre's iconic classics, such as the legendary Feuille d'Automne, and has created a Lancôme cheesecake. He has also created a signature dessert: the Rose Agora, pear & lychee, in homage to the Maison's iconic flower. “With La Rose Agora, I wanted to capture the soul of Lancôme in a single bite: the delicacy of a petal, evoking Lancôme's iconic rose, the power of a fragrance, and the emotion of a season,” explains Étienne Leroy. These unique creations are accompanied by a curated selection of coffees, teas, fruit juices, and champagnes. Seating for 28 guests provides a comfortable space to relax, recharge, and enjoy the atmosphere. Travellers can also browse exclusive Lancôme Café De La Rose Doha merchandise, including personalised coffee cups and beautifully embroidered canvas tote bags.
