The 4th edition of ‘Aspire for Education’ is set to open today (September 23) at Aspire Academy, bringing together international and local experts who will to explore how student and teacher well-being enhances both learning outcomes and overall educational experience.

This year’s event continues Aspire Academy’s role in advancing Qatar’s position as a regional and international hub for the development of education and innovation.

Themed “Well-being in Education”, the conference will feature keynote speeches by distinguished global experts, along with panel discussions addressing current challenges and best practices in the education sector.

Sessions will highlight the importance of inclusive practices, emotional resilience, teacher wellness, and the integration of supportive school systems. Practical workshops will focus on strategies that can be applied in classrooms to promote mental and physical health, as well as research presentations highlighting the latest field studies and global initiatives within the education sector.

In a press statement, Jassim al-Jaber, chairman of the ‘Aspire for Education’ Conference, said: “This conference highlights the psychological, social, emotional, and physical aspects of education and reinforces their role as core pillars for student and teacher success.

“We aim to provide a platform for educators, policymakers, researchers, and stakeholders to implement strategies that balance academic success with personal growth”.

The latest edition of the conference aims to raise awareness on the importance of well-being in education and its direct impact on students' academic performance and personal growth. It also encourages the exchange of best practices and promotes the development of innovative tools that integrate well-being into curricula and learning environments.

The conference will focus on five key pillars:

Physical, mental, and emotional well-being

Social well-being and Ethics

Teacher and staff well-being

Student-athlete well-being

Technology, artificial intelligence (AI), and cybersecurity

“The conference serves as a global platform for collaboration and partnership-building. It brings together educational institutions, experts, and decision-makers to exchange insights and co-create innovative solutions,” al-Jaber said.

A wide range of participants is expected to attend, including university faculty, researchers, school leaders, and teachers from Qatar and the wider Arab region. Policymakers from both the public and private sectors will also be present, along with technology experts specialising in AI, cybersecurity, and education systems.

In addition, professionals involved in student support services — especially those focused on mental health and student-athlete well-being — will contribute insights that further reflect Aspire Academy’s mission to promote an inclusive, forward-looking vision for the future of education.
