QIIB is the sponsor of the inaugural Qiyada conference of Qatar Foundation (QF), being held today and tomorrow (Friday and Saturday) at Multaqa (Education City Student Center). At the conference, Muslim youth from Qatar’s schools and universities will gather to engage, share challenges, and explore solutions rooted in faith.
The sponsorship – an agreement for which was signed during a ceremony at Education City – reflects the shared commitment of QF and QIIB to supporting, empowering, and inspiring the youth of Qatar and the region.
“In our continuous efforts to support our ever-growing community of students and alumni, and provide opportunities for the youth of Qatar to engage in meaningful and valuable dialogue, strategic partnerships such as those with QIIB are central,” said Francisco Marmolejo, president of Higher Education and Education Advisor, QF.
“QIIB shares our belief in the benefit of platforms and pathways that enable the exchange of knowledge, ideas, and perspectives, and that foster discourse and dialogue. And, like QF, QIIB is committed to investing in the youth who are the future of our nation and our region. We are delighted to be partnering with socially focused, value-driven companies like QIIB to create opportunities that positively impact the lives of tomorrow’s leaders.”
Ali Hamad al-Mesaifri, chief of Human Resources and Administration of QIIB, said: “Through this collaboration with Qatar Foundation, we are reinforcing a strategic partnership born out of the alignment of our missions to support and empower youth, while fostering an environment that nurtures creativity and conscious leadership.
“We are confident that the Qiyada conference will represent a landmark milestone for young people in their journey toward making a positive impact both locally and internationally.”
Bringing together global scholars, thought leaders, and influencers, the Qiyada conference is focused on strengthening Islamic identity and cultivating conscious leadership.
Its two tracks will centre on identity and faith, and knowledge and leadership, equipping and empowering Muslim youth to positively impact their communities and the wider world.
