The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced a partial closure on Al Wakra Road from September 20 for 40 days. During the closure that will be implemented in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic, the fast lane for a distance of 300 m for traffic coming from Doha towards Al Wakra will be closed after the Ras Bu Fontas Interchange. The closure has been announced to complete the remaining works in the central median between Ras Bu Fontas Interchange and Al Wakra Street Interchange.
During the closure, road users coming from Doha towards Al Wakra are advised to follow the traffic signs and adhere to the speed limits in place.
