The Ministry of Municipality's activities to celebrate 'World Cleanup Day' kicked off Sunday under the theme 'Cleanliness is Everyone's Responsibility.' An awareness pavilion has been set up at Doha Festival City until September 20 by the General Cleanliness Department in co-operation with municipalities and the Friends of the Municipality Group. It is sponsored by Seashore Group. A comprehensive campaign to clean the country's beaches and islands was announced during Public Cleanliness Week with the participation of field teams and community members.
