Dozens of Palestinians were martyred and wounded since dawn Monday by Israeli occupation forces' continuous fire and bombing of various parts of the Gaza Strip. Palestinian news agency (WAFA) reported, citing medical sources, that ten people, including children, were martyred when the occupation forces bombed two houses on Al-Jalaa Street, west of Gaza City.

Another was martyred by Israeli occupation forces in the Al-Mughraqa area in the central Gaza Strip, while Israeli artillery shelling continues north of the Nuseirat refugee camp.

On Oct. 7, 2023, Israeli occupying forces launched an assault on the Gaza Strip, resulting in the martyrdom of 64,871 people, the majority of whom were women and children, and the injury of 164,610 others. This is a preliminary toll, with a number of victims still buried under the rubble and on the streets, unable to be reached by ambulances and rescue teams.
