Leaders of Arab and Islamic states will meet in Doha on Monday for an Emergency Arab-Islamic summit in a show of support for Qatar in the wake of the Israeli attack targeting the residential quarters of leaders of the Palestinian resistance group Hamas. The September 9 attack killed 6 people, including an officer of Qatar's Internal Security Force. The attack has drawn global condemnation while Qatar, a key mediator in the Gaza conflict, has accused Israel of sabotaging chances for peace and Netanyahu of practicing "state terrorism". HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani said on Sunday that Israel's actions would not stop Doha's mediation efforts with Egypt and the United States.
