His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani received phone calls yesterday from HM Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of the Sultanate of Oman, Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto, Indian PM Narendra Modi, Bulgarian President Rumen Radev, Spanish PM Dr Pedro Sanchez and French President Emmanuel Macron.
During the calls, the leaders expressed solidarity with the State of Qatar and their strong condemnation of the blatant Israeli attack that targeted the residences of several Hamas leaders, describing it as a criminal act and a flagrant violation of all international laws and norms, as well as a threat to the security of the State of Qatar and the region.
They also reaffirmed firm rejection of any aggression that threatens the security and safety of the State of Qatar and undermines the security and stability of the region, emphasizing that they stand with the State of Qatar in all measures it takes to protect its security and preserve its sovereignty.
For his part, His Highness the Amir affirmed that the State of Qatar will take all necessary measures to protect its security and preserve its sovereignty in response to the blatant Israeli attack. His Highness also expressed his thanks to the leaders for their sincere sentiments and valued solidarity with the State of Qatar and its people. (QNA)
