On the sidelines of the visit of HE Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed al-Nahyan, President of the sisterly United Arab Emirates, to the State of Qatar, HE Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad al-Thani, President of the Qatar Olympic Committee, and HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Rashid al- Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense of the UAE, visited the Katara International Hunting and Falcons Exhibition “S’hail 2025” on its opening day on Wednesday morning, Katara the Culture Village said in a statement.
Their Excellencies toured the exhibition halls, viewing the latest displays in traditional hunting alongside advanced falcon care technologies and equipment, and listened to presentations from exhibitors on key local and international contributions.
Katara stressed that this visit reaffirms the deep fraternal ties between Qatar and the UAE and underscores the importance both leaderships place on supporting shared cultural and sporting heritage, including falconry, a practice deeply rooted in the identity and traditions of the region.
