Al Sheehaniya Municipality's Health Control Section has seized food items stored in non-functioning refrigerators under unsanitary conditions at a food establishment. A violation report was issued in accordance with the provisions of Law No (8) of 1990 regarding the regulation of human food control. Around 275kg of high-risk food items were destroyed in co-operation with the Public Cleaning Department to ensure consumer health and the safety of food products on display at the local market. Al Sheehaniya Municipality affirmed it will continue to intensify its monitoring and inspection campaigns across various food establishments to ensure their compliance with health requirements and standards, to protect the health and safety of community members.
