Alaraby 2 has announced its Fall 2025 programming lineup, featuring a diverse mix of cultural, educational, and entertainment shows alongside new drama series, documentaries, and feature films.
The lineup reflects the channel’s ongoing commitment to delivering high-quality content that balances entertainment with knowledge.
The new season showcases cultural programming that highlights literary and intellectual work while fostering dialogue with leading thinkers and creators.
“Mutala‘at” ( Arabic for reading) continues its weekly reviews of the latest novels, short stories, poetry collections, and historical works, also covering major cultural events such as festivals and literary awards.
The daily show “Difaf” (Shores) will keep pace with cultural activities across Arab and international capitals, spotlighting literature, cinema, theater, and the visual arts.
Hosted by journalist Aref Hijjawi, “Sayidati Sadati” (ladies and gentlemen) blends language, literature, history, and the arts with profiles of influential cultural figures. “Sirron Fi Almathaf” (secret in the museum) offers viewers exclusive access to world-renowned museums, exploring treasures from diverse civilisations through fresh historical perspectives. The schedule also features new episodes of “Eshroun” (twenty), which highlights twenty notable Arab achievements across different fields and tells inspiring stories of innovators who turned their visions into reality.
“Wojouh Mina Alkhaleej”(figures from the Gulf), hosted by novelist and journalist Mohammed al-Yahyai, presents in-depth interviews with leading Gulf creators, documenting their artistic journeys.
Satirical political show “Joe Show”, hosted by Youssef Hussein, remains a standout platform blending comedy analysis of current events with commentary on social trends. The podcast “Kif Al Hal?” (How are you) will tackle the psychological impact of life experiences, opening with Egyptian actor Abdel Aziz Makhyoun reflecting on his career and personal journey.
Meanwhile, “Sihatok” (Your health) continues to promote medical awareness with reliable coverage of diseases, prevention methods, and new treatments, with a focus on women’s and family health.
Film remains central to the lineup. “Cinema Cinema”, hosted by Amine Ben Hamza and Marie-Therese Maalouf, takes viewers behind the scenes of international film festivals and showcases the latest Arab and global releases.
Alaraby 2 has also expanded its space for documentaries and feature films, maintaining weekly screenings of two independent films—one narrative and one documentary — alongside five weekly hours of documentary programming.
On the drama front, Alaraby 2 will air several highly anticipated series from Egypt, Palestine, and Syria. The productions address current social and human issues, reflecting everyday challenges and the broader human experience across Arab societies.
Alaraby 2 CEO Elias Khoury said:“This diverse mix of cultural, talk, artistic, health, documentary, and drama programmes reflects Alaraby 2’s vision to be the closest media destination to the Arab family, by offering a complete viewing experience that combines enjoyment with knowledge.”
Upcoming projects include a major children’s competition, a large-scale music programme focusing on Arab classical music, a technology-focused show, and a documentary series on the history of Arab countries.
