Qatar International Search and Rescue Group of the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya) set up a temporary field hospital to provide urgent medical support to earthquake victims in eastern Afghanistan. The hospital has already received several injured individuals and provided them with the necessary care, while critical cases were transferred to main hospitals in neighbouring provinces. The group also established several shelter tents to provide temporary accommodation for the quake-affected families and to ensure their basic needs are met.
