Israeli occupation forces launched a wide-scale arrest campaign in Jerusalem this morning, detaining 16 Palestinians.
According to Palestinian News Agency (WAFA), large forces from the Israeli army stormed the town of Anata, northeast of Jerusalem, at dawn, conducting searches and sweeps through streets and residential neighborhoods, including raids on dozens of homes.
The agency, citing local sources, reported that the occupation forces turned one of the houses into a makeshift field interrogation center, where several residents were questioned.
These arrests fall within the occupation's ongoing policy of repeated night raids across various areas of West Bank and Jerusalem, involving detention of residents in field interrogation centers, as well as extensive searches and destruction of homes.
