The National Committee for International Humanitarian Law held its second meeting of 2025 under the chairmanship of HE Undersecretary of the Ministry of Justice and Committee Chairman Saeed bin Abdullah Al Suwaidi.
During the meeting, the committee reviewed the topics on its agenda, including developments related to the establishment of the Arab committee for international humanitarian law, which aims to enhance coordination and cooperation among Arab countries in this field.
It also discussed a range of regional initiatives and community partnerships, in addition to coordination efforts with relevant governmental and international bodies, and efforts to protect cultural property in conflict situations.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the committee emphasized the importance of continuing coordination with relevant local and regional authorities and strengthening initiatives that contribute to consolidating the principles of international humanitarian law.
