Colonists stormed the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque under the protection of Israeli occupation forces. According to the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA), dozens of colonists stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa and performed Talmudic rituals.
Additionally, tens of thousands of colonists gathered at Al-Buraq Wall last night and performed Talmudic prayers, following a call by the "Western Wall Heritage Foundation," which announced that Selichot prayers would be performed throughout September in preparation for the Hebrew New Year, which falls on the 23rd of that same month.
Temple groups continue to target Al-Aqsa, exploiting religious occasions in an attempt to Judaize the site. Meanwhile, calls from Jerusalemites continue, as the mosque faces ongoing assaults and incursions by colonists and occupation police in an attempt to alter its religious and historical status and impose a new reality.
Colonists also continue their daily incursions into Al-Aqsa Mosque through the Morocco Gate, except on Fridays and Saturdays. These incursions intensify during Jewish holidays and occasions, with greater violations of the sanctity of the mosque.
