Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) Philippe Lazzarini said in Gaza that "the world's indifference and inaction is shocking."
Lazzarini stressed in a statement Tuesday on X platform that "more journalists are killed today. Silencing the last remaining voices reporting about children dying silently amid famine."
Lazzarini called for an end to manmade famine by opening the gates without restrictions and protecting journalists, humanitarian, and health workers, adding that it is the "time for political will". Not tomorrow, now."
