The death toll in the Gaza Strip, since the Israeli aggression began on Oct. 7, 2023, has risen to 62,744 fatalities, mostly women and children.

Medical sources in Gaza have reported 158,259 injuries since the start of the offensive, while many victims remain trapped under the rubble, beyond the reach of emergency paramedics and civil defense rescuers.

Gaza's hospitals received 58 fatalities and 308 injuries during the latest 24-hour reporting period, while the toll of casualties since March 18, following the Israeli breach of the ceasefire deal, has reached 10,900 fatalities and 46,218 injuries, the sources continued.

In addition, the sources added that fatalities among those who were queuing for aid reached 28, with 184 reported injured in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of those who died trying to make a living to 2,123 and 15,615 injured. All were received at hospitals.

Meanwhile, Gaza's hospitals recorded 11 new mortalities in the past 24 hours due to starvation and malnutrition, among them two kids, bringing the total number to 300 mortalities, among them 117 children.
