Israeli settlers on Sunday stormed the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque under the protection of the Israeli occupation police.

According to Palestinian news agency (Wafa), dozens of settlers stormed Al-Buraq Square, west of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and performed Talmudic rituals on the occasion of the so-called "Hebrew New Month," in preparation for storming the mosque's courtyards.

Since the beginning of the Israeli all-out aggression against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank in October 2023, more than 68,000 settlers have stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque under the protection of the occupation forces, amid tightened restrictions on entry to the mosque and the gates of the Old City.
