The General Cleanliness Department at the Ministry of Municipality has launched a series of awareness workshops to enhance the skills of all employees, including supervisors, inspectors, technicians, drivers and workers since March.
These workshops, scheduled to continue until the end of December, focus on several key areas related to the nature of field work in addition to aspects of occupational safety and security, report writing and an introduction to the laws and regulations governing public hygiene services while enhancing employee efficiency and the quality of services.
Mohammed Faraj al-Kubaisi, assistant director of the General Cleanliness Department, conducted a field visit to the workshops and urged the department employees to benefit from the outcomes of these awareness programmes. “The department places great importance on employee awareness and training and believes that workers represent the cornerstone of the achievements. Raising their awareness of their professional duties is a priority for the department and a fundamental step towards achieving a sustainable and safe work environment,” al-Kubaisi added.
