The casualty toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has reached 62,192 martyrs and 157,114 injured.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza stated on Thursday that hospitals in the Strip received 70 martyrs and 356 wounded over the past 24 hours.

It added that the number of victims since the Israeli breach of the ceasefire agreement on March 18 has reached 10,646 martyrs and 45,073 wounded.

The Ministry also reported that hospitals received 18 martyrs and 117 injured among aid-seekers over the past 24 hours, raising the total number of aid-seeking martyrs to 2,036 and 15,046 injured.

It noted that hospitals in Gaza recorded two deaths from famine and malnutrition in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of famine victims to 271, including 112 children.

The Palestinian Ministry stressed that more victims remain trapped under the rubble, with ambulance and civil defense crews unable to reach them.
