Al Rayyan and Doha municipalities launched their first joint inspection campaigns by the health control sections on food establishments in the New Industrial Area.
The campaign included the participation of 11 food inspectors and a veterinarian aiming to exchange inspection expertise between both sides, in addition to sharing knowledge in planning and managing inspection campaigns, improve the quality and performance of regulatory work and contribute to raising efficiency and performance standards.
During the campaign, awareness and inspection activities were carried out on commercial establishments operating in the field of food handling to ensure their compliance with the required health requirements in accordance with Qatari, GCC, and international standards.
Workers were also educated on the principles and rules of food safety to ensure the application of the highest food safety standards, thereby achieving safe and healthy food for consumers.
