Al Wakra Municipality carried out 988 inspection tours during Aug 11–17, addressing violations related to advertisements and general cleanliness, as part of the 'My City is Civilised' initiative.
The General Control Section conducted 824 inspection tours during this period, which resulted in 24 violation reports. These included 16 violations related to abandoned vehicles and six violations concerning the provisions of the Public Hygiene Law No 18 of 2017.
In addition, two violation reports were issued under Law No 1 of 2012 regarding the regulation of advertisements.
The Technical Control Section carried out 164 inspection tours, which led to spotting six violations of the provisions of Law No 4 of 1985 on the Organisation of Buildings. Further, 224 inspection operations were conducted in public parks and gardens.
