Several Palestinians were martyred and others injured on Friday morning as Israeli occupation forces continued shelling and firing on multiple areas across the Gaza Strip.
According to the Palestinian news agency (Wafa), three Palestinians, including a child, were martyred when Israeli forces targeted a group of civilians west of Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip.
In the central Gaza Strip, one person was martyred and three others were injured in Israeli shelling, while another individual was wounded by Israeli gunfire in Khan Yunis, in the south.
The Israeli army also carried out five building demolitions in the Zeitoun neighborhood of Gaza City, and an Israeli warplane launched an airstrike west of Khan Yunis.
Medical sources in Gaza reported that on Thursday, 32 Palestinians were martyred in various parts of the enclave as a result of Israeli fire and shelling.
Since the start of the Israeli aggression in October 2023, the death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 61,776, with 154,906 others wounded, amid what humanitarian agencies describe as an unprecedented catastrophe.
