The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced a temporary closure of two lanes for traffic from Sheraton Interchange towards Al Taawon Interchange starting from 12 midnight on Aug 15 until 5am on Aug 16. The closure in co-ordination with the General Directorate of Traffic is to complete road maintenance work. Ashghal has urged road users to reroute to nearby streets to reach their destinations. Ashghal will install road signs advising motorists of the temporary closure and requested all to abide by the speed limit to ensure safety.
