Al Wakra Municipality's General Control Section and Technical Control Section have continued to carry out field inspection tours within the administrative jurisdiction of the municipality during August 4 -10, as part of its ongoing efforts to achieve the goals of the 'My City is Civilised' initiative.
During this period, a total of 1,072 inspection tours were conducted across various areas, including 890 tours by the General Control Section, which resulted in 330 violation reports, 31 violations of Law No 18 of 2017 on Public Hygiene relating to abandoned vehicles, and two violations of Law No 1 of 2012 on the Regulation and Control of Advertisements. In addition, 164 inspections were carried out in public parks.
Inspectors from the Technical Control Section conducted 182 tours, which resulted in issuing 13 violation reports, four violations of Law No 15 of 2010 prohibiting workers’ accommodations in family residential areas, and nine violations of Law No. 4 of 1985 on Building Regulations.
