A Palestinian child was martyred and dozens wounded on Monday after the Israeli occupation forces struck multiple civilians waiting for aid in the central Gaza Strip.

Israeli forces targeted of a group of Palestinians near an aid distribution point on Salah al-Din Street, south of the Wadi Gaza area in the central Gaza Strip, resulting in the martyrdom of one child and the injury four others, according to medical sources.

Since Oct. 7, 2023, the total death toll from the Israeli aggression on Gaza has risen to 61,430 martyrs, with 153,213 injured.

The Israeli occupation resumed its aggression on the Gaza Strip after breaching the ceasefire agreement on March 18, following a two-month pause. Since then, it has continued to strike various areas across the Strip, which is already suffering from an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe after 22 months of war.
