A family of eight was martyred on Monday morning in an Israeli airstrike on the al-Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City.
A mother, a father, and six of their children from were martyred as a result of the Israeli airstrikes, the Palestinian news agency (WAFA) said, citing medical sources.
Since Oct. 7, 2023, the Israeli occupation forces have launched an offensive on the Gaza Strip, killing 61,430 civilians, the majority of whom are children and women, and wounding 153,213 others. The death toll is not final, with a number of victims still under the rubble and in the streets, and ambulance and rescue crews are unable to reach them.
