The Building Permit Complex at the Ministry of Municipality, alongside the technical affairs departments in the municipalities, issued a total of 1,836 building permits during the second quarter of this year, an official statement said Saturday.
These include new permits, additions and modifications, and renewals. These permits covered 1,414 small projects, 59 large projects, and 363 other projects. Besides, within the same period, 1,872 permits or certificates were issued, comprising 919 building completion certificates, 340 maintenance permits, 189 building demolition permits, and 424 property information certificates.
Further, the number of approved engineering plans during this period amounted to 62,237 plans for building permits, 25,522 plans for building completion certificates, 2,513 plans for maintenance permits, 1,310 plans for demolition permits, and 305 plans for property information certificates.
