Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi discussed with Transitional Prime Minister of Sudan, Kamil Idris relations between the two countries and ways to strengthen them in various fields, contributing to restoring stability in Sudan and achieving the aspirations of the two peoples for development and prosperity.

During a meeting today, the two sides discussed efforts to resolve the Sudanese crisis and fulfill the aspirations of the Sudanese people to restore peace and stability, as well as bilateral cooperation in the field of reconstruction. The Egyptian President reiterated his country's firm and supportive position on Sudan's unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, stressing its full support for all efforts aimed at achieving security and stability in Sudan and ending the current humanitarian suffering, while preserving the resources of the Sudanese people.

They also exchanged views on the latest regional developments, emphasizing the importance of continued coordination and consultation between the two countries on all issues of common interest.
