The Doha Municipality has demolished an abandoned and unsightly property in the New Salata area, in accordance with a decision issued by the Building Maintenance and Demolition Committee at the Ministry of Municipality.
The property was identified by the municipality’s Technical Control Section during one of its inspection tours, as part of ongoing efforts to preserve the urban aesthetics of areas within Doha’s jurisdiction.
Following the inspection, the violation was referred to the relevant committee, which issued a demolition order. The property owner was notified through an official report to take the necessary steps to implement the decision.
Meanwhile, Doha Municipality continues to carry out regular inspection campaigns across various areas to ensure compliance with the law, particularly Law No 29 of 2006 concerning the regulation building control, to maintain public safety and the overall appearance of the city.
