The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change (MoECC), represented by the Public Relations and Communication Department, has concluded its participation in the summer camp activities organised by the Qatar Chess Federation, which ended Thursday.
As part of its participation, the ministry offered a series of recycling workshops under the theme *Transform Your Waste into Creative Ideas.
These workshops aimed to enhance environmental awareness among young people and highlight the importance of recycling household waste and transforming it into innovative artworks.
The activities included an exhibition of art pieces created by participants in the workshops, in addition to organising awareness competitions that focused on introducing participants to the components of the Qatari environment and ways to preserve it.
