Within the framework of community partnership and its commitment to promoting sustainability concepts, the Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has participated in the activities of the Seashore Summer Camp organised by Seashore Group at the Academic Bridge headquarters – Doha.
Ashghal, according to a statement on X, presented an interactive workshop entitled ‘Engineering and Sustainability’. This was presented by Eng. Noor Ghaith al-Kuwari.
The workshop aimed to introduce young participants to the basic concepts of sustainability from an engineering perspective, highlight the importance of integrating sustainable practices into infrastructure projects and showcase the national efforts made by Ashghal in this vital field.
Al-Kuwari stressed the importance of instilling sustainability concepts in the minds of the younger generation pointing out the importance of sustainability awareness workshops.
"Through the workshop, we tried to simplify the concept of sustainable engineering in an interactive and easy way, presenting examples of Ashghal projects that focuses on protecting the environment and providing infrastructure that takes into account the needs of future generations," she said.
