Six Palestinians, including two children, were martyred and several others injured on Sunday after Israeli occupation forces opened fire on civilians waiting for humanitarian aid in the Gaza Strip.
According to the Palestinian news agency (WAFA), citing medical sources, the victims were targeted near an aid distribution center in the southwest of Khan Yunis, in the southern part of the enclave.

Additional injuries were reported at the Zikim junction in northern Gaza, where Israeli forces targeted another group of civilians awaiting aid.
The incident comes less than 24 hours after ten Palestinians were martyred by Israeli fire while waiting for humanitarian assistance in the northwest of Gaza.
Since the start of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip on October 2023, the death toll has reached 59,733, the majority of whom are women and children. At least 144,477 others have been injured, according to preliminary figures. The actual toll is likely higher, as many victims remain under rubble or are unreachable by ambulances and rescue teams
