HE the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Labour Sheikha Najwa bint Abdulrahman al-Thani met the director of the International Labour Organisation (ILO) Office in Doha Max Tunon, on the occasion of the end of his tenure in Qatar.
During the meeting, HE Sheikha Najwa presented Tunon with a commemorative shield in recognition of his distinguished service and enduring contributions.
Throughout his tenure, Tunon played a pivotal role in advancing technical co-operation between Qatar and the ILO, strengthening joint programmes in labour and workers' rights, and promoting the exchange of expertise and innovative practices at both regional and global levels. – QNA
