The 10th Local Dates Festival opened at Souq Waqif on Friday. The festival features more than 100 date farms from across Qatar, offering a variety of local date types. It also includes the sale of locally grown fruits and date-based products. Held under the auspices of the Ministry of Municipality and Souq Waqif Management, the festival takes place at the Eastern Square of Souq Waqif.
Running until August 7, the festival is open from 4pm to 9pm, except on Fridays and Saturdays when it remains open until 10pm.
