In a new massacre that adds to the ongoing Israeli crimes against Palestinian civilians in the Gaza Strip, occupation forces on Tuesday shelled displacement tents in the northern area of Al-Shatea Camp, west of Gaza City, killing 14 Palestinians and injuring 25 others.
Medical sources told Palestinian news agency (WAFA) that women and children were among the victims.
This escalation is part of the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 2023, which has so far claimed that lives of 59,092 Palestinians -- the majority of them women and children -- with 142,135 others injured.
Various areas across the Gaza Strip, particularly displacement camps, are witnessing intense and repeated shelling amid catastrophic humanitarian conditions and acute shortages of food, medicine, and clean water.
