Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan held a telephone discussion with his American counterpart Marco Rubio, focusing on the situation in southern Syria.
According to Anadolu Agency (AA), citing diplomatic sources, Minister Fidan emphasized during the call the need to end the clashes and restore calm to Syria as soon as possible, stressing the importance of implementing the understandings reached between the parties concerned in Syria.
The Turkish minister also stressed that his country will never allow any terrorist organizations to exploit the situation in southern Syria.
