Saudi Arabia's Al Hilal SC exited the FIFA Club World Cup 2025, currently taking place in the United States, after losing 2-1 today to Brazil's Fluminense SC at Camping World Stadium in Orlando.
Fluminense's two goals were scored by Martinelli in the 40th minute and substitute Hercules Pereira in the 70th minute, while Brazilian forward Marcos Leonardo netted Al Hilal's lone goal in the 51st minute.
With this victory, Fluminense SC became the first team to advance to the semifinals, where they will face the winner of the upcoming match between England's Chelsea and Brazil's Palmeiras.
Al Hilal SC had reached the quarterfinals after defeating Manchester City 4-3 in extra time in the Round of 16.
