Huawei Qatar launched its art initiative, Go Paint, at Doha British School (DBS) – Al Wakra campus recently, a statement said.

Led by renowned Qatari artist Hassan al-Mutawaa, the session encouraged self-expression and introduced 12 students to the latest in digital art tools, using the latest Huawei MatePad tablets.

Principal Hurst noted that the workshop served as a platform for cultural expression, imaginative learning, and the powerful intersection of education and innovation.

As the industry's first smart device vendor to launch a self-developed painting app, Huawei has gained valuable insights into the creative needs of consumers. Adhering to the core concept of "Creation of Beauty", Huawei aims to enhance user experience through technological innovation, enabling everyone to enjoy the fun of artistic creation. The GoPaint app will strengthen the appeal of Huawei tablets within the artistic community and significantly enhance their creative workflows.

Tang Liangjian, country manager of Huawei Qatar, stated: “The Go Paint workshop is more than just an art session — it’s a platform for cultural expression and imaginative learning. By collaborating with Doha British School and renowned Qatari artist Hassan al-Mutawaa, we aim to inspire young talent and support Qatar’s vision for a knowledge-based society. This initiative reflects our belief that technology can be a powerful bridge between education and creativity.”
