HE the Minister of State for International Co-operation Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser al-Misnad met Monday with Vice-Minister for International Co-operation and Director General of the Swiss Development Co-operation Agency (SDC) Patricia Danzi, on the sidelines of the 4th International Conference on Financing for Development (FfD4), held in Seville, Spain.
The meeting discussed co-operation between Qatar and the Switzerland and ways to support and enhance them, particularly in the areas of international development and humanitarian aid.
In this regard, the two sides stressed the importance of integrating roles and co-ordinating efforts to enhance sustainable humanitarian responses in conflict-affected areas, particularly in Syria and Afghanistan. Regional and international developments, along with a number of topics of common interest, were also discussed.
