Seventeen Palestinians were martyred and several others wounded in Israeli airstrikes and shelling on areas across the Gaza Strip at dawn on Wednesday.

Al-Awda Hospital reported the martyrdom of six Palestinian citizens, five of them in an Israeli raid on a house in the Al-Mufti area north of the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip, and the sixth as a result of the occupation forces opening fire on citizens waiting for aid on Salah Al-Din Street, south of the Wadi Gaza area in central Gaza.

Other medical sources reported that five civilians were killed in an Israeli airstrike targeting a residential home on Al-Salam Street in Deir Al-Balah, central Gaza.

Three civilians were also killed and others wounded in an Israeli airstrike on Mansoura Street in the Shuja'iyya neighborhood, east of Gaza.

Gaza's Civil Defense reported that three other citizens were killed, several others wounded, and more were missing under the rubble after an Israeli aircraft bombed two homes in Jabalia Al-Nazla, north of the Gaza Strip.

The death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip rose to 56,077 martyrs and 131,848 injuries as of yesterday, Tuesday, since Oct. 7, 2023
