Hamad International Airport’s operations are “gradually recovering and returning to normal”, it was announced Tuesday. In a statement, HIA said, “During this transition, we apologise for any inconvenience caused by the rescheduling of affected flights, and appreciate our passengers understanding and patience. We advise our passengers to check the latest status of their flights with their respective airline and consider completing online check-in before arriving at the airport.”

Meanwhile, Qatar Airways said it is “now making progress in restoring its schedule with possible disruptions” until June 26. Customers with travel up to and including June 30 may change their travel dates without paying a fee until July 15.

They can refund the unused value of their tickets without any cancellation fee if they no longer wish to travel.

“We advise all passengers travelling to check qatarairways.com or the Qatar Airways app for updated flight information,” the airline said.

In an earlier statement, Qatar Airways said, “As usual operations resume, we anticipate significant delays to our flight schedule. We would advise passengers to check qatarairways.com or the Qatar Airways mobile application ahead of travel. The safety of our passengers and crew remains our highest priority.”
