The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on Monday condemned and denounced in the strongest terms the "aggression" launched by Iran against the State of Qatar, considering it a flagrant violation of international law and the principles of good neighborliness, and an unacceptable and unjustifiable act under any circumstances.
In a statement, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed the Kingdom's solidarity and full support for the State of Qatar, and putting all its capabilities to support the State of Qatar in all its measures.
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has condemned in the strongest terms the Iranian Revolutionary Guard's targeting of Al-Udeid Air Base in Qatar, considering it a flagrant violation of Qatar's sovereignty and airspace, which constitutes a clear violation of international law and the UN Charter.
The UAE affirmed its categorical rejection of any attack that threatens the security and safety of Qatar and undermines the security and stability of the region.
In a statement, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the UAE's full solidarity with Qatar and its unwavering support for all measures aimed at protecting the security and safety of its citizens and residents.
It also reaffirmed the urgent need to halt military escalation, and warned against continued acts of provocation that threaten to destabilize regional security and risk dragging the region into dangerous paths with catastrophic repercussions for international peace and security.
The Ministry called for implementing diplomatic solutions grounded in the principles of good neighborliness, emphasizing that serious dialogue remains the only viable path to resolving the current crises and preserving the security, stability, and peace of the region and its peoples.
